Financially stable community bank in New Mexico is seeking a Compliance Officer  to replace their current CO who will be retiring in late 2018.  This individual will be responsible for application and administration of the bank's compliance management program as well as staying current on  regulatory changes, assisting with guidance on BSA and CRA and relevant staff training.  Will also be responsible for advising Senior Management of emerging compliance issues based on new or pending regulations and recommending the establishment of appropriate controls to mitigate risks.  Will report to the CEO and have responsibility for monthly reporting to the Board. Will plan, organize and control the bank's day-to-day administrative, lending and operational compliance activities and participate in appropriate committees (Fair Lending), audits and examinations.  Must have a minimum of 2 years of bank compliance experience and direct knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, CRA, flood, Reg Z Truth in Lending, RSPA, Reg B, HMDA, Bank Privacy Act and SafeAct.  Position functions are largely automated and travel to the branches is minimal.  Compensation will entail a competitive base salary along with officer-level benefits and assistance with relocation.
