VP, Mortgage Loan Department Manager/Real Estate Loan Officer, northwest North Dakota
Financially stable community bank is looking for a Mortgage Department Manager to manage a department of 5-6 as well as serve in a hands-on capacity as a real estate loan officer.  The department consists of one additional loan officer and 3 support staff.  Residential real estate loans as well as residential construction loans are originated and serviced in the department and most are ultimately sold to the secondary market.  In addition to management, typical responsibilities will be mortgage origination,  preparation of compliant documents, appraisal requests, title orders, verifications of employment and assets, credit reports as needed, and flood certifications. This individual will also be accountable for analysis of income, asset, credit and appraisal documentation to insure compliance with bank loan policy. Current NMLS license or ability to obtain NMLS license and pass fingerprint and FBI background check at time of employment will be essential as well as 1-2 years of experience in real estate secondary market programs and operating systems.  Compensation will entail a very competitive base salary commensurate with experience in addition to standard bank benefits including an ESOP and 401K with match as well as help with relocation.
