The Process Quality Engineer will drive continuous improvement in the technology driven quality objectives across manufacturing sites through systematic, pre-emptive analysis and improvement in process capabilities. The position will specifically own investigations of critical quality deviations arising from process excursions or analytical variations to understand root causes and ensure implementation of corrective actions at the respective manufacturing sites.

Major Responsibilities
\n\n
Implements technology based analysis as appropriate (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) to raise the performance of the company’s product lines in terms of process and analytical capabilities.

    \n\t
  1. Facilitates regular reviews of current process capabilities for products prioritized based on risk and opportunities using Six sigma tools. Drive action from the reviews for continuous improvement including updates to CTQs and Control Plans.
  2. \n\t
  3. Lead root cause investigations around significant process quality variations including analysis of process capabilities and analytical variations. Support existing quality teams at local sites as necessary to ensure appropriate verification and resolution.
  4. \n\t
  5. Work closely with Product Line process technology teams to leverage product line expertise in defining risks and opportunities to achieving improvements in process quality.
  6. \n\t
  7. Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
  8. \n\t
  9. Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, quality plans, documents and reports.

  • Proficient as a Facilitative leader
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed to manage and collaborate with internal resources
  • Ability to manage complex projects across many facilities and functions
  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
Required Experience
  • 7+ years industrial technical experience in operations roles
  • Engineering Degree: Chemical Engineering
  • Six Sigma black-belt training required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage quality improvement initiatives from identification to sustainable manufacturing process implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to network effectively within the business unit and to stakeholders and collaborators outside the team
  • Up to 30% travel including international will be required
