Human Resource Business Partner

Responsibility and Authority
Employee Relations: Contact with all levels of salaried and hourly employees.
Equipment: Office equipment/HRIS system assigned to the function.
Money: Assures administration of employee benefit programs, reviews wage adjustment requests.
Business Contacts:  
  • External:
Government agencies, labor union, insurance carriers, job service, educational groups and institutions
  •  Internal: 
Frequent contact with all levels of management and employees at the location.  All contacts require resourcefulness, tact and knowledge of complex policies, practices and procedures, usually of a confidential nature.
Minimum Requirements
Education  Level Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Required: 5+ years generalist experience in human resources
Knowledge Required: Familiar with accepted personnel practices, Company policies and procedures, labor agreements, Federal and State laws applicable to personnel administration.  HRIS, Excellent Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
