Global Helium is seeking a Helium Bulk – Production Technician I to join our team located in Kansas
The Helium Division distributes liquid and gaseous Helium for use in a variety of applications, including electronics, optical fibers, MRI/NMR, leak detection, and metal fabrication. Linde products, services, and technologies
Responsibilities:
Helium Bulk – Production Technician I – Global Helium and Rare Gases is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Committed to personal safety and environmental accountability.
Safe handling of hazardous materials (liquid & gaseous helium).
Must be professional.
Perform duties; as trained; under minimal supervision, and in diverse weather conditions. Available for callout.
Accurately completes documentation such as timesheets, EAM work orders, safe job plans work permits and regulatory reports/Inspections.
Computer and software use, for example: email, spreadsheets, data entry.
Maintains facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices and conducts routine inspection of equipment and facilities.
Fill liquid & gas helium Bulk containers to our QMS (quality management system) standards.
Operate a yard tractor.
Participates in and successfully completes training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy.
Reviews and follows procedures as necessary to ensure compliance of all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements.
Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Data entry, etc.
Able to pass a pre-employment physical (up to and including drug & alcohol test).
Must live/relocate within 45 miles of reporting location.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to work shifts, which include evenings, weekends, and holidays
Rotating “On-Call” responsibility
Ability to work safely around various types of rotating equipment
Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships.
Must be willing and able to travel (up to 10%)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
